In contrast to one-on-one classes, studying English in a group with friends or colleagues has the advantage that you can simulate dialogue in a larger context than with a teacher only. Sharing opinions, asking one another questions, and of course, learning from each other’s mistakes are extremely valuable as you will be exposed to more language, speaking styles, and ideas.

Native English speakers make up a small minority of the world’s total English speakers today, which means that you are probably more likely to communicate with other non-native speakers. Getting used to different accents in English can greatly improve your understanding in many contexts, from telephone communication to academic discussion. Whether you already have a group or would be interested in joining others of a similar level, group tuition may be the option for you.

Learning in a group setting is not only fun but can also save you money when booking an English course. Please see my price listing for more information. I can accommodate up to 5 students at my home in the 18th district, or can come to your workspace in Vienna.
